Parents and Kiddos,
There are plenty of really great papers in the stacks this week. Bravo to those of you that are trying REALLY hard to do your neatest work on each paper and in your speller. Most have decided that “following” a direction will be much easier than “writing” it. My first week of “warning” about writing directions helped most kids, but some are learning the lesson the hard way.
Be sure to keep the “purple edged” English workbook sheets from every stack to use to study from for English tests. I don’t send study guides for English.
We will discuss at Open House (Aug. 31 – 6:30) many “things”. For right now – remember that 100% white cotton t-shirt is due in class Sept.8th. We’ll then start the process of twisting on the rubber bands. (If you have extra rubber bands or have availability to medical gloves --- feel free to send some to class.) I’ll need a few moms, dads, or grandparents for the actual dipping process. I’ll send the exact date once I check weather forecast and speed of the group with the banding.
Homework: spelling…20-21
Read – “Opt” (an illusionary tale)
Book Report info has been given to the kiddos - some kids are already finished with the Sept. goal of 200 pages with the computer tests taken and the summary written. Way to go!!!! READ – READ – READ(no less than 10 pages per day)
Prayer Partner Day = Fri. Sept. 3rd / wear jeans and prayer part. shirt
Have a great weekend – always remember to include the Lord. Hope to see many of you at the Summer Bash tomorrow. Call with questions or concerns.
