Debra Klahs

I grew up in Richwoods, Missouri.  I graduated from Potosi High School.  I graduated from Southeast Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education and minors in Art & Science. 

I have been married to Bret Klahs for 23 years.  He graduated from Hillsboro High School and is a graduate of the University of Missouri Rolla and the University of Michigan with a masters in Mechanical Engineering.  Shortly after we were married we moved to Michigan where we lived until the summer of 2006. 

We have 7 children.  Phillip is a senior at Westminster College where he is double majoring in Pre-med and Math.  Kyle is a sopomore at Westminster and is majoring in Pre-Med.  Sawyer is a senior and Lilly is a freshman at St. Pius X.  Abby-7th, Luke-5th, and Keagon 3rd, all attend St. Agnes. 

As a family, we are involved in many sports and activities, from Swim Team, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Volleyball,Track, Boy Scouts, piano, guitar, and Band just to name a few.

I have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, and Art K-8th.I enjoy teaching and especially love Science!  I grew up spending lots of time in the outdoors and I enjoy all of God's creatures form earth worms, to spiders, and snakes.
