Where has all the time gone?
Great scores on Math tests last Friday 11A’s 5B’s
Long division this week has caused heartache for a few students. This
weekend each student should try a few problems like 59 divided
by 4, 87 divided by 6, 183 divided by 7 etc. The more they can
practice this weekend the easier it will be on Monday. I have not
corrected what we did in class today so can’t send it to show you
how they are doing so far.
This week Read: "Koala Catchers" Spelling:212-213
Ask you kiddo how they scored on the computer quiz for Wilbur’s
Boast. I had quite a few disappointed students. Since spring has
sprung it seems the effort level has been lacking in certain areas.
With 15 days remaining we have lots to complete and many scores to
add to averages. Let’s not slack off now!!!
Next week Wed. = Soc. Studies test 10
A few students have not completed their April 200-page reading
goal. They have known for some time now that with this 5 week month
I asked for computer tests finished by Monday (4/28) Many kiddos
have already gotten a good jump on May’s goal--which is still the
200 pages! They have time here in class daily for quiet reading.
Some will admit they could use their time a bit better!
