Bellarmine SpeechLeague

The Bellarmine Speech League is open to all students in grades 5-8. It consists of three categories, humorous, serious and duet. The students memorize a chosen speech to perform in front of their peers and judges. Each speech lasts between 3 and 7 minutes. There are 3 speech meets throughout the school year and in April it culminates with a trophy meet.

The speech meet is a way for students to overcome any fears they sometime have with public speaking.
