Dear St. Agnes Families,                                                                
 

We have made it to March!  Such a great blessing when you look back at where we were last year at this time.  March can bring quick changes and unpredictable weather, so please be sure your student has a jacket for recess.
     

The St. Agnes virtue for March will be Temperance: Enjoying things in a proper, balanced way.  Please see the link of activities you can work on at home with your child.  While this is not required homework, parents have found these enrichment activities helped them discuss with their children how these virtues are concrete examples of our Catholic faith.

                                                                                                    We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss and the National Day of Reading Across America on Tuesday, March 2nd.  Crusaders may wear stripe, polka dots, or other fun patterned tops and bottoms, with crazy hats to celebrate Dr. Seuss.  Teachers will have a planned stop drop and read time for students, as well as other fun activities throughout the day.

- March 2: Dr. Seuss and National Read Across America Day
- March 4: Dare Graduation 
- March 5: End of Third Quarter
- March 12: No School - Teachers’ Professional Development Day
- March 17: St. Patrick’s Day (Wear Green)
- March 31: 8th Grade Religious Retreat at Zell (7:00 - 9:00 PM)
- March 25: Annunciation of the Lord
- March 28: Sausage Pancake Breakfast
- Kindergarten Screening - Arranged by Mrs. Steffens

- The Bloomsdale Knights of Columbus will be having a Fish and Shrimp Fry Every Friday from March 5th - April 2nd. Serving Starts at 4:00 PM.
