Hello! My name is Peggy Filer and I am in my fifth year as the kindergarten teacher at St. Agnes School. Prior to that, I taught 17 years at St. Joseph School in Zell, 16 of those years being in kindergarten. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University in Park Hills with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.
My husband, Dan, and I have been married for 25 years and have three wonderful children. Megan is 22, has a degree in Business Management from Central Methodist University in Park Hills, and is a supervisor at Bloomsdale Bank in Ste. Genevieve. Andrew is 19 and works as a welder/maintenance man at Tower Rock Stone. Katie is 14 and a freshman at Ste. Genevieve High School. My husband works as a welder/maintenance man at LafargeHolcim. He is a St. Agnes and Valle Alumni while I graduated from Ste. Genevieve High School.
We live on a beautiful farm in French Village. When I have free time I enjoy walking, gardening, and reading.
I am very excited about teaching kindergarten again at St. Agnes and am looking forward to another great year!
